It was a cold, icy winter day but this sturdy, well-built antique barn in a pastoral setting was an inviting sight after a 2 hour drive with good music and conversation with my husband. After spending a couple hours learning about this incredible wedding venue, I wish I could have planned my own wedding here […]
Purely Rustic Wedding Photos When Julie and Beau first reached out to me about wedding photography, I could sense that this was a couple that loved country living, country songs, and everything else that speaks “country”. One of Katarina and Michael’s goals was to have a classic, fun wedding in an elegant location, but without the “stuffiness” and they totally accomplished that. And just like most of the weddings I shoot, everyone at Katarina & Michael’s wedding was having a blast. Check out these images from this wedding at the Lounsbury House in Ridgefield, CT.
Congratulations to Lindsay and Jon for committing their lives to each other on August 26th! Their wedding was at the Mansion at Bald Hill in Woodstock, CT. Check out these sneak peeks of their amazing wedding!

Sneak peeks of Brynne and Don’s amazing spring wedding! The ceremony was at Clark Chapel in Pomfret, and reception at the Mansion at Bald Hill. The trees were blossoming, and it added unique texture and pattern for portraits!
The Golden Lamb Buttery is a farm wedding venue and stylish restaurant, and one of my favorites places in Connecticut. It’s a place in the rural hills of Brooklyn, CT is a far cry from Brooklyn, New York! It’s a nice escape from busy city life into a world of quaint farm-to-table dining in a rustic red barn.
