Rose Garden: Elizabeth Park Wedding

Hartford, Connecticut wedding filled with roses! Reception was at New Pond Cafe, which is located at Elizabeth Park on Asylum Street. A place that is covered in rose bushes and exquisite gardens.

On Friday, June 27, 2014, I was honored to be the second photographer for Amber of AB Photography. Samantha and Joe’s ceremony took place inside of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Beacon Falls, Connecticut. The amazing wedding portrait session with Sam and Joe was done at Elizabeth Park, right next to the reception area, Pond House Cafe, in Hartford, Connecticut. (They are in the same spot). Elizabeth Park is incredibly full of roses during the summer. If you want to feel like in a dream world, or want to step into flowery canopies that make you feel like you’re in My Little Ponies, visit Elizabeth Park during peak rose season in summer! Elizabeth Park is also the oldest rose garden in America, opened to the public in 1897. It’s open 365 days of the year, and admission is free of charge…so check it out, all you rose lovers!
