Wedding Videography
Since we’ve been photographing weddings since 2014 in New England, we’ve observed a myriad of styles & approaches when it comes to wedding video. After hearing about our photography clients’ frustrations with the videography service they hired (and our own experiences with “unaligned” videographers), we started offering interesting, storytelling videography to our photo clients. We prefer to film as the moment happens, and we work best with our own photography team, or photographers that focus on capturing motion rather than still, stiff poses.

First look with dad

Katie’s first look with her dad tied a lot of different clips together. Her mother had passed away years ago, they both knew she was watching from heaven. With this in mind, we decided to mic dad to capture his words at first look.
Epic first dance

This was a surprise first dance for everyone at this wedding! Everyone knew Andrew to be quiet and sweet, but nobody knew that they could dance like this together. They were so excited to celebrate their love in this way through this surprise first dance!

Fields to fireworks

Kacey and Sam got married at their family’s greenhouse business. From colorful flower fields and greenhouses, to epic fireworks at the end of the night, this experience was amazing.
Gift of Love

He was very close to his grandmother. Here’s a clip from their video, but starting at the moment he got the boutonniere she made, which had a piece from his grandmother’s dress. Tear-jerker!

Garden Paradise

There is a piece of garden paradise tucked away on an old country road in Northeastern Connecticut. All that exists this day is their love, the flowers, and their marriage starts here in these flower gardens.

About the Wedding Videography team
Since we’ve been photographing weddings since 2014 in New England, we’ve observed a myriad of styles & approaches when it comes to wedding video. After hearing about our photography clients’ frustrations with the videography service they hired (and our own experiences with “unaligned” videographers), we started offering interesting, storytelling videography to our photo clients. Lead photographer Ling became one of the lead videographers with Kevin. Soon, our photographer Branden came on board with shooting video with our photography team.

Our pricing is kind of like "choose your own adventure". . . Build your own collection by choosing the type of coverage that best fits your wedding day. Clients that book our team for photography enjoy storytelling video at the $3400 rate for 8-10 hrs.

How we work with you
1. Connect & book!
Schedule a complimentary Zoom meeting with one of our team members Ling to discuss the approach, booking process, and answer any questions. If you want to book the team, we can email a booking proposal to digitally sign.
2. Plan & Meet
Receive the link to your Client Portal where you’ll see your contract, forms, gallery links, album design proofs, and more. Leading up to the wedding, you’ll meet with your Trailing Twine team on Zoom for us to get to know you more, and review wedding plans.
3. Celebrate!
On your wedding day, we’ll arrive 30-60 minutes prior to coverage, to do some team prep and get settled in before coverage starts. As your day unfolds, we document it as unobtrusively as possible.
