A blissful wedding venue in Worcester County!
Located at 801 Chockalog Road, Uxbridge, Massachusetts, it’s one of a couple of rustic wedding venues in the area…and I am so excited to share with you my visit here!
The Pavilion. All this photo is missing is just a bride and groom kissing eachother in the center! The main building that holds the Chestnut Room upstairs, a beautiful rustic indoor spot.
Blissful Meadows Golf Club interview
If you love exploration and discovery like me, you’ll relate to the fact that I absolutely love checking out wedding venues. Each place that you could potentially get married at, and start your Day 1 of your marriage, is so unique. Each wedding venue is special. I loved getting together with Melissa Laskowski to learn more about Blissful Meadows Golf Club. Melissa is one of three wedding coordinators at Blissful Meadows, and her family owns and operates it as well. You can reach her at email@example.com or call 508-278-6110, extension 103. Not your ordinary golf course wedding!
Maybe it’s the venue’s collection of antique Ford automobiles, or the inviting rustic lemonade stand for guests that makes your heart leap with joy. Whatever it is that gives you joy, you find it. Here at Blissful Meadows Golf Club, you’ll find a brand new, elegant clean-looking barn by a large lawn, and matching wooden fence surrounding that property. This is The Pavilion.
The Pavilion, one of two locations for weddings at Blissful Meadows Golf Club. It can seat ~200 guests at the round tables, or rented banquet tables.
If you rent the Pavilion, you can have your ceremony at this wooden arbor, located very close to the Pavilion barn.
As I’m sipping on my icey-cold pink lemonade right now listening to Keith Urban’s swooning voice, I want to tell you that if I had a wedding at Blissful Meadows, I definitely would spend the couple hundred dollars to rent one of their wooden lemonade stands!
The Pavilion was built in 2014, and you can still smell the sweet wood. It’s an open air, and there’s no heat or air conditioning. (Hey, real working barns don’t have heat or a/c anyways!) The breeze is nice, and guests can hang outside as well, munching on those butlered hors d’oeuvres, or hitting some golf balls on your own driving range located just outside of the Pavilion.
If you have a wedding at the Pavilion, the food will be buffet style.

The Chestnut Room inside Blissful Meadows Golf Club
The Chestnut Room is the other location available for weddings. It’s located in the main original building. In fact, the Chestnut Room is the original Victorian barn that was built in 1880, now it’s on the National Register of Historic Place! You can see the original wood beams.
Here is your spot for gifts right by the door to the Chestnut Room. Who needs a gift table when you can have an antique wood sleigh like this?
You can have a plated meal here, where at the Pavilion you can only have a buffet meal.
If you get married at the Chestnut Room, you get this gorgeous gazebo to have your ceremony at if you wish! This deck overlooks this ceremony area. Don’t you love this gazebo area? If you want to have your short ceremony here at the gazebo BUT your reception at the Pavilion, that might be possible for a Friday or Sunday wedding when there’s only one wedding happening on one day (2 weddings, staggered, on Saturdays). Blissful Meadows books more than 75 weddings in a year, and about 1 to 2 years in advance.
Here is the carriage house, for the little red barn photo. Melissa says that this is a popular place for First Look photos…a special private time where bride and groom see eachother for the first time before the ceremony.
Hands down, this little dirt road is ideal spot for outdoor lovers, if you’re not in heels, and want that wild woodsy photo.
Other Things to Know!
