Who got married on Saturday, March 28, 2015? Jonathan and Alistair! I had the pleasure of photographing this fun couple at the fabulous Danversport Yacht Club, in Danvers, Massachusetts. Even though it was technically Spring on this day, it felt like winter because it was a tiny bit chilly with continous snowfall that looked like little white flowers in all of our outdoor photos.
If you want a nice day trip to somewhere cozy, beautiful, and peaceful, get a hot meal at the restaurant at the Danversport Yacht Club. The venue is located right next to the ocean, and they have a yummy seafood restaurant with pretty good prices. It is a nice spot in Massachusetts and well worth going. If you take a peek at the ballroom upstairs, that Harborview Ballroom is very spacious, beautiful, and elegant with chandeliers, but more suited for humongously large gatherings. However, Jon and Alistair celebrated the start of their marriage journey downstairs by having the ceremony in the Garden Terrace Room, followed by the reception in the Lighthouse Point room. It was a blessed day for the lucky couple to spend it with their fun friends and family at the Danversport Yacht Club. If you are looking for a wedding venue that is somewhat near Boston, I would recommend Danversport Yacht Club as a great alternative to a Boston venue.
