Moore State Park in Paxton, MA Engagement Session

I love looking back at my clients' engagement photos for a refresher on what "directions" would work really well for their wedding day portraits. Check out Lindsay and Jon's engagement session from the fall at Moore State Park in Paxton, MA.

Moore State Park Engagement Session

It’s the morning of Lindsay & Jon’s wedding day today at the Mansion at Bald Hill in Woodstock, CT. I’m finishing up with getting all my gear ready for this amazing day, but want to share a few of my favorite images from Lindsay and Jon’s engagement session from last fall.

For all of my clients, I send out a questionnaire where I have you cherry pick the “features” of a setting that you would like in your engagement photos. Lindsay and Jon went for a type of engagement shoot that involved their natural selves having fun in a place with wide open space, grassy meadows, an old barn, stone walls, water, and forest. The whole shebang!

After scouting around on the internet, and looking back to past shoots, we decided on Moore State Park in Paxton, MA. Long ago, this park used to be a place of sawmills and grist mills. It’s 400 acres of hay field, woods, water, and paved and non-paved trails.

Stay tuned for sneak peeks of Lindsay and Jon’s wedding! I can’t wait to see these guys have the time of their lives!
