Natural Bridal Portraits for People Who Aren’t Models!

Natural Bridal Portraits

If you’re like me, you’d want to have the most un-awkward pictures getting ready for your wedding day. You’d rather be focused on looking your best for your special day, rather than posing for a whole hour for your photographer. For me, I like to photograph weddings as unobtrusively as possible, so often times during the getting ready portion you’ll find me documenting moments as they happen.

Here are some examples for how I love to photograph bridal portraits. Basically, we’ll just have you put on your earrings or your shoes in a fabulous spot and it’s just candid-style pictures that serve as awesome bridal portraits. For almost every wedding, I’ll have Trailing Twine brides just get photographed putting on shoes, garter, earrings, or simply just looking down at the dress. We’re not models, and we typically feel awkward in front of photos (including myself), so the more natural the photography is, the better!
